Organizational Focus

Uniting Families is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering families across the five boroughs through culturally responsive, accessible, and holistic services that promote family stability, child development, and long-term success. Childcare Access Scholarship Program (Immigrant Families)

Purpose

To provide childcare access for immigrant mothers and families who do not qualify for ACS childcare vouchers, enabling parents to work, attend school, access services, and stabilize their households.

Program Description

The Childcare Access Scholarship Program offers need-based childcare vouchers to eligible families who are otherwise ineligible for ACS subsidies due to immigration status, documentation barriers, or eligibility gaps. Scholarships are applied directly toward approved childcare providers or partner programs.
